ThreeUp is built by Synthesized Future, LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your tasks stay on your device, and the only thing that ever leaves is task text you explicitly opt in to sending.

What we collect

Nothing on our servers. ThreeUp has no accounts, no login, and no user profiles. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter in ThreeUp is stored locally on your iPhone:

• Your daily tasks and stretch goals

• Whether each task is complete

• Your task history and completion streaks

• Your display name, if you choose to enter one

• Your theme and preference settings

This information never leaves your device except in the one case described below. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.

AI Sorting, and what it sends

AI Sorting is an optional feature. It is turned off by default, and it does nothing unless you turn it on in Settings.

When AI Sorting is turned on, the text of your three daily tasks is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can identify which one appears to be the highest priority. The response is a single task selection and a short explanation, which is displayed in the app.

Specifically:

• What is sent: only the text of the three tasks for the current day

• What is not sent: your name, your task history, your stretch goals, your completion records, your device information, or any identifier that could link the request to you

• When it is sent: only while the feature is turned on, and only when your task list changes

• What we store: nothing. We do not keep a copy of what was sent or what came back

Anthropic processes these requests under its own privacy practices, available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. If you turn AI Sorting off, the app makes no network requests at all.

Purchases

If ThreeUp offers paid features in the future, purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information.

Children

ThreeUp is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how your information is handled will also be noted in the app.
